Comments: Tsukiko Amano is an awesome j-rock artist and someone I also "recently" got into. Her voice has a nice quality, especially when she really starts singing with power, and this song is pretty typical of her stuff. But of course all of her stuff is good, so you won't be disappointed. Nice melody, nice guitars, I really like the chorus of this song, yay. ;P download

GReeeeN - ai uta

Comments: GReeeeN! (Lol I couldn't find an official pic of them??) I'll admit I know nothing about this band, but I randomly downloaded this song and I love it. ^^ It has a really distinct feeling.. from the uniquely strong percussion background to the vocalist.. who has a somewhat scratchy but very fitting voice. The whole song just fits together very well.. the melody kinda makes you happy too.. the general feeling is kinda like a nostalgic one.. but also fresh. =P Makes me wanna try their other stuff. download

S.H.E - Boom

Comments: Yet another S.H.E song, though I haven't updated for like 4 months so I'm pretty sure you've all forgotten. This song is pretty different from most Chinese pop.. or I guess not really if you compare it to Jolin Tsai and some more recent stuff. It really reminds me of some of those popular rap/hip-hop songs in English.. especially like Buttons by the Pussycat Dolls? Everytime I hear the chorus I go "where have I heard this before??" I'd say this is almost a Chinese version of those types of songs.. but it's still good. Sounds cool when they go "boom boom boom" ;P download

Epik High - Fly

Comments: Epik High.. Tablo!! Haha, another Korean hiphop/rap band that's awesomee. I recommend their stuff. This is one of my favorite songs by them and one of their most popular songs. The guys (whoo Tablo, did you know he can speak like 4 languages or something.. anyways) are awesome and fit in with the female voice very well. I've noticed a lot of male/female err.. duets? collaborations? in these types of Korean songs, and it certianly gives it a distinctive feeling. Download this song too, it's not as catchy as the Big Bang one but it's still awesome. =) download

CHEMISTRY - saigo no kawa

Comments: The only CHEMISTRY song I have on this new computer.. but it doesn't disappoint. It opens very calmly with a beautiful piano accompaniment and light orchestra which carry the song through (with occasionally light drums and other stuff). The melody is very pretty and relaxing and the guys' voices are nice as well. Nothing to complain about; it's a great song to listen to. Just one thing.. it's a little too long. ;P download

Ueto Aya - usotsuki

Comments: I actually really like this song by Aya Ueto.. it's one of her more memorable ones in my opinion. The guitars in the background are kinda fun and provide a strange folk feeling for a bit. o_o The melody is pretty typical but enjoyable, as is her singing. There's also a funky flute that adds some flair. My description sounds weird/vague but I'd still recommend this song. =P download

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION - angou no waltz

Comments: ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION is a j-rock band that almost everybody knows! I'll admit I'm not too fond of their music but that's not because it's not good.. it's because I like happier stuff.. or sad ballads. ;P This is a solid rock song with the lead singer's typical semi-nasally voice. The intro seems a bit too dull/repetitive and maybe the percussion a little too heavy to me, but the chorus is nice and overall a good song~ The bridge (is that what it's called?) with the guitar solo is kinda cool as well. download
